11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. drumheart

Michael Kenny, drum circle leader and facilitator is trained and certified as a HealthRhythms Facilitator, TaKeTiNa teacher, Village Music Circle Provider, and was president of the non-profit Drums Not Guns for 10 years.  Michael has studied African drumming with Moussa Diabate, Middle Eastern drumming with Jamal Mohammed, and minored in percussion studies while obtaining his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Therapy.   

Michael provides unique, fun and exciting community drum circles where everyone is welcomed and empowered.  Even if you have never played a drum before, this is for you!  If you have a heartbeat you can drum.


1 p.m. - 2 p.m.  IDANIA

IDANIA is a Cuban artist who stands out for her versatility in musical genres. On stage with her voice, charisma and execution of various instruments, she shows a musical show of a high professional level. Her repertoire includes Cumbias, Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Ballads among other musical genres highlighting the Latin culture!

Cut Time presents Love Songs & Songs We Love. Garland residents Steve & Whitney Golin have performed in theater productions across DFW stages for 30-plus years. 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. BABA YAGA ORKESTAR

The Baba Yaga Orkestar is a jazz-influenced Balkan Brass Band in Dallas, Texas. The eight-piece band consists of clarinet, saxophone, mellophone, trumpet, flugabone, trombone, tuba, percussion, and vocals. With a jazzy spin on songs from Eastern Europe and Romani traditions, they strive to uplift, connect, and entertain audiences.
